My name is Joshua Cass and I am an amateur (in the sense that it is not my primary source of income) multi-instrumentalist and researcher specialising in historical woodwind instruments and their repertoire.
I studied modern oboe and recorder at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music graduating in 2022 and have since focussed exclusively on historical woodwind instruments, especially fipple flutes (recorders, flageolets, ocarinas, etc.) and double reeds (curtals, racketts, oboes, bassoons, etc.)
On this website you will find many of the resources which I have collected and curated over the years along with some of my original work. Translations of some articles published in languages other than English (such as in the Tibia or Windkanal magazines) will also be made available.
While this site does mostly function in mobile browsers, the experience will be better on a desktop.
